Terms of Service

1. Service Description

LotIQ is a pricing intelligence and market analysis platform for UK resellers, operated by Strength 9 Ltd (“we”, “us”, “our”). The service provides real-time pricing data, margin calculations, watchlist tracking, trend analysis, and supplier information to help resellers make informed buying and selling decisions.

2. User Accounts

To use LotIQ, you must create an account with a valid email address and a secure password. You are responsible for:

• •Maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials
• •All activity that occurs under your account
• •Notifying us immediately if you suspect unauthorised access

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

3. Subscriptions and Billing

LotIQ offers a 14-day free trial. After the trial period, continued access requires a paid subscription. Key billing terms:

• •Subscriptions are billed monthly or annually via Stripe
• •You may cancel your subscription at any time through the billing portal in Settings
• •Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period — no partial refunds are issued
• •We may change pricing with 30 days' notice. Existing subscriptions are honoured until their next renewal

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• •Use automated tools to scrape, crawl, or extract data from the service beyond normal use
• •Resell, redistribute, or sublicence access to the service or its data
• •Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the platform
• •Use the service for any unlawful purpose or to facilitate fraud
• •Share your account credentials or allow others to access your account (team access is available via team seats)
• •Interfere with or disrupt the service or its infrastructure

5. Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of LotIQ — including but not limited to the software, design, text, graphics, logos, and AI-generated analysis — are owned by Strength 9 Ltd and are protected by UK and international intellectual property laws. Your subscription grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to access and use the service for your personal or business reselling activities. Data you input into the service (purchase logs, settings, watchlists) remains your property.

6. Data and AI-Generated Content

LotIQ uses artificial intelligence to provide pricing analysis, trend predictions, and market insights. While we strive for accuracy, AI-generated content is provided for informational purposes only and should not be treated as financial advice. Pricing data is sourced from third-party marketplaces and may not always reflect current prices. You are responsible for verifying any information before making purchasing or selling decisions.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Strength 9 Ltd shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, loss of data, or business interruption, arising from your use of or inability to use the service. Our total liability for any claim arising from these terms shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.

8. Service Availability

We aim to provide a reliable service but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The service may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, updates, or circumstances beyond our control. We will make reasonable efforts to notify you of planned downtime in advance.

9. Termination

Either party may terminate this agreement:

• •You: Cancel your subscription at any time via the billing portal, or delete your account in Settings
• •Us: We may suspend or terminate your account if you breach these terms, with notice where practicable

Upon termination, your right to use the service ceases immediately. We will retain your data for 30 days following account deletion, after which it will be permanently removed. You may export your data before deletion.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or by posting a notice on the platform at least 14 days before changes take effect. Your continued use of the service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. If you disagree with the changes, you may cancel your subscription before they take effect.

11. Governing Law

These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of the service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales. If any provision of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
